My baby

My sweet Matthew, I want to start with an apology for not keeping your blog updated. Things can get pretty crazy when you're raising 4 young kids! You, my sweet boy, are so loved. Never forget that. You are hilarious, independent, a little bossy, smart, agile, mischievous, sweet, and so much more. You keep us all so entertained. You ADORE your siblings. You want to be just like "the guys" (what you call Zac and Sam). You ask for each one of your siblings by name every day when they go to school and you are home with me. You are lost without them around. They all love you just as much as you love them. I hope and pray that you 4 always stay this close. Y'all are my most special blessings. First 6 weeks of life

My sweet, beautiful, tiny little man, My pregnancy for you went by like a flash. I was so busy with taking care of your brother's and sister that it flew by. Towards the end, I started feeling the pain, though. Taking care of 3 other little kids while huge and pregnant is not ideal. I was so ready for you to come out and to meet you. The day we went in to have you, I was excited but a little nervous. I had a feeling that it would be a different experience than the other babies, but I wasn't sure how. I was soon to find out, thought. My labor with you went pretty fast, which was expected after having 3 other babies, but this time, I didn't receive the epidural until close to 8 cm dilated. This was HORRIBLE. I was in so much pain for a couple of hours. I was screaming and crying..just like they do in the movies. I never thought it would really be like that!
